On Valentine’s Day, the Union College music program will present its seventh annual Valentine Concert.
Led by Virginia Gay Gandy, DMA, all three Union choirs—Union College Singers, Union Harmony and the Union Regional Chorus—will perform. The concert is at 8 p.m. in Conway Boatman Chapel and is free and open to the public.
According to Gandy, the concert will feature well-known songs that highlight the many aspects of love.
“We will sing songs about romantic love, the misery of love and dreaming of love,” Gandy said. “Selections include ‘Isn’t it Romantic,’ ‘I Dreamed a Dream,’ ‘Rainy Days and Mondays,’ ‘I’ve Grown Accustomed to Her Face,’ ‘I’m Just a Girl Who Cain’t Say No’ and many, many more.”
