Dr. Kyung Hoon Lee

Associate Professor of Management

Dr. Kyung Hoon Lee teaches business and management courses such as strategic decisions (capstone), business statistics, operations management, principles of management, training & development, and entrepreneurship. In class, he focuses on enabling students to apply their learning to real life business situations.  His teaching has been recognized with the receiving of ten medals in Medallion Ceremony at Baccalaureate in 2010,2011,2014, and 2015. He also won the Excellence in Teaching Award at Spring Commencement in 2012.  Besides teaching, Kyung Hoon devotes himself to advising and researching.  He provides students with practical advices reflecting up-to-date career trends.  His research area of interest includes the integration of business ethics with decision analysis.   

His professional career outside of academia includes developing business, conducting market research, and publishing white papers for business consulting firms in Virginia. Kyung Hoon also worked as a consultant at LG CNS (Entrue Consulting Partners) in Korea and participated in projects involving integrated data-warehousing and enterprise resource planning.  

An important aspect of his life is family – his wife, Hee Jin, and two sons.  He enjoys traveling, playing golf, and playing piano with his sons.
