Trustee's Scholarship
 

Amount: Starting at $14,000

Requirements:  Minimum 3.50 GPA & 26 ACT  (or equivalent) Score  

 

President's Scholarship
 

Amount: Starting at $11,000 

Requirements:  Minimum 3.00 GPA & 23 ACT (or equivalent) Score
 

Dean's Scholarship
 

Amount: Starting at $9,000

Requirements:  Minimum 3.50 GPA & 20 ACT (or equivalent) Score 

 

Bulldog Award

Amount: Starting at $7,000

Requirements: Minimum 2.50 GPA, Based on Admission to Union College and Extracurricular Activities

 

Commonwealth Scholarship

Amount: Up to Full Tuition

Requirements: Minimum 3.0 GPA & 18 ACT, Kentucky Resident, FAFSA Completed by February 1st, Family EFC between $0 - $1,000. *Student KEES & UnSub loan will be applied toward tution cost/fees.

 

Governor's Scholar Program

Amount: Up to Full Tuition 

Requirements:  Graduate of Governors Scholar Program with a 3.0 GPA & 24 ACT (or equivalent) Score. Up to Half Tuition scholarship for Governors Scholar Program Graduates below a 3.0 GPA & 24 ACT.  
*Scholarships are also available for Governor's School for Entrepreneur & Governor's School for the Arts 

 

Rogers Scholar Program
Amount: Up to Full Tuition 


Requirements:  Graduate of Rogers Scholar Program with a 3.0 GPA & 24 ACT (or equivalent) Score. 

 

Transfer Scholarship

Amount: Up to $12,000

Requirements: Based on GPA of at least 24 transferable hours. 
                      Minimum 3.75 GPA, Up to $12,000
                      Minimum 3.25 GPA, Up to $10,000
                      Minimum 3.0 GPA, Up to $8,000
                      Minimum 2.5 GPA, Up to $7,000 

 

Post Baccalaureate Scholarship

 

 Amount: Up to $12,000 

Requirements: Based on GPA of Undergraduate Studies

Athletic Scholarship

Amount: Varies

Requirements:  Award determined by coaching staff. Not stackable with other academic scholarships.  

 

Performance Scholarships/Other Awards


Bonner Leader Service Scholarship                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                         

 

Amount: $11,000 ($9,500 Scholarship & $1,500 Stipend)


Requirements: Minimum 2.0 GPA, strong interest in community service, ability to serve 10-15 community service hours weekly, attend weekly developmental meetings, acceptance to Union College, and completion of the Union College Bonner Leader Scholarship application and all related requirements.  This scholarship is offered in partnership with the Corella and Bertram F. Bonner Foundation of Princeton, New Jersey.

 
Methodist Grant
 

Amount: $1,000

Requirements:  Students should be members of the Methodist Church and complete application to the program. 
 

Vocal Music Scholarship

 

Requirements: The award is based on musicality, and audition with Dr. Virginia Gay Gandy, Associate Professor of Music. 
Theater Scholarship

Requirements: The award is based on ability, and audition with Ms. Kimberly Yeager, Theater Director. 

Marching Band Scholarship
Requirements: Award is based on musical ability and audition.
Union Legacy (Alumni) Scholarship
Amount:$1,000 discounted from the cost of tuition


Requirements: Dependent children of Union College graduates who received a bachelor’s degree. 

Union Sibling Scholarship

Award: $1,000 per sibling discounted from the cost of tuition. 

Requirements: Two or more siblings must be enrolled as full time undergraduate students.  Siblings must be dependent and reside in the same household. 



Southeastern 
Kentucky Grant                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                    

 

Amount: Variable


Requirements: Available for residents of Bell, Clay, Harlan, Knox, Laurel and Whitley counties. Minimum 3.0 GPA, minimum 17 ACT. FAFSA must be completed by January 30th and you must have an Estimated Family Contribution (EFC) between $0-$1000. Student Pell, State Grant, KEES and Subsidized loan will go toward tuition. 

 
* Scholarships are available to students starting fall semester of the 2016-2017 academic year.
