Literary Reference Center

LRC is a comprehensive literary reference database covering antiquity to the present day.  It is a completely full-text database that combines information from over 1,000 books and monographs, major literary encyclopedias and reference works, literary journals and unique sources.  LRC contains detailed information on the most studied authors and their works.

Literary Reference Center Plus

Literary Reference Center (LRC Plus) is a full-text database that combines information from major respected reference works, books, literary journals as well as original content from EBSCO Publishing. Contains everything in Literary Reference Center, plus: over 1,200 additional full-text literary reference books/works, over 200 additional full-text literary journals and magazines, 35 volumes of new contemporary literature titles from Salem Press, 40 full-text literary study guides and 72 literary videos.

Designed specifically for high school libraries, this database contains full-text for nearly 500 popular, high school magazines. It also provides more than 350 full-text reference books, 84,774 biographies, 100,554 primary source documents, and an Image Collection of 235,186 photos, maps and flags.

MEDLINE [National Library of Medicine]

MEDLINE provide authoritative medical information on medicine, nursing, dentistry, veterinary medicine, the health care system, pre-clinical sciences, and much more. Created by the National Library of Medicine, MEDLINE uses MeSH (Medical Subject Headings) indexing with tree, tree hierarchy, subheadings and explosion capabilities to search citations from over 4,800 current biomedical journals.

Mental Measurements Yearbook with Tests in Print

Mental Measurements Yearbook, produced by the Buros Institute at the University of Nebraska, provides users with a comprehensive guide to over 2,000 contemporary testing instruments. Designed for an audience ranging from novice test consumers to experienced professionals, the MMY series contains information essential for a complete evaluation of test products within such diverse areas as psychology, education, business, and leadership. MMY provides coverage from Volume 1 to the present.  Tests in Print (TIP) serves as a comprehensive bibliography to all known commercially available tests that are currently in print in the English language. TIP provides vital information to users including test purpose, test publisher, in-print status, price, test acronym, intended test population, administration times, publication date(s), and test author(s).

Middle Search Plus [Middle Schools]

Middle Search Plus provides full-text for 140 popular magazines for middle and jr. high school research.  All full-text articles included in the database are assigned a reading level indicator, and full text information dates as far back as 1990. It also contains 84,774 biographies, 100,554 primary source documents, and an Image Collection of 235,186 photos, maps and flags.
