The Educational Specialist (Ed.S.) program provides today's educators with the skills needed to lead lasting change in a 21st century classroom. The Ed.S. program is a post-Master’s offering designed to build upon existing knowledge bases by examining the impact of diverse constituencies with the goal of increasing P-12 student success. Coursework, assignments, and field placement opportunities for the program allow students to explore the intersection of where national expectations for student success meet state and local efforts to lead change.

The Ed.S. program is offered as a blended program with both online and onsite course components. Students study issues of teacher leadership including effective grant writing, understanding student motivation, creating inclusive learning environments, and classroom decision-making based on action research.
